Discover biblical and historical importance sites on our Heritage tour! 

Tour Schedule:

A guided tour of the Holy Land with a focus on Christianity. Visit places that played an important role in Jesus’ life – Bethlehem the Birthplace, Nazareth the Childhood, Cana the First Miracle, Tiberias the Minstry, Sea of Galilee for Miracles and Jerusalem where He was Crucified and Resurrected, including the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Via Dolorosa, Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. Other key sites visited on the tour include Caesarea, Megiddo, Masada, Qumran, the Dead Sea and Ein Karem.

Day 1. Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport

Our representative will meet you after passport control for assistance and guide you to your hotel in Tel Aviv for check-in, dinner and overnight.

Day 2. Jaffa, Caesarea, Megiddo, Nazareth

After breakfast at your hotel and check out, you will meet your tour guide to accompany you on your journey. We will drive for a short visit to Jaffa (Joppa), walk through the picturesque alleys of the Old City, pass by the House of Simon the Tanner and the views from the hill top. Our day will continue heading north, we drive along the coast to Caesarea National Park, built by King Herod (220BC), a deep sea harbor as well as storerooms, markets, wide roads, baths and temples in honor of his Emperor Augustus Caesar. We continue for a visit to Megiddo, encompassing the ancient biblical mound of Megiddo, whose universal value has won it a place on the UNESCO World Heritage List, with 20 slices of Heritage. Megiddo was mentioned in the Book of Revelation for a great battle at the place called “Armageddon”. It is an ancient city inhabited continuously for more than five millennia (6000-500 B.C.).

At the end of the day, we drive to Nazareth in the low center of the Galilee, for check-in to your hotel, dinner and overnight for 2 nights.

Day 3. Sea of Galilee

We will start with sightseeing of the historical Tiberias, where it Is believed Jesus lived, performed Miracles, and preached on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. We drive for a visit to Capernaum, the center of Jesus Ministry, known for where Jesus taught and healed a man possessed by an evil spirit. Continue to Tabgha, the site known traditionally as where the miracle of feeding the 5,000 with only five loaves and two fishes took place. We drive to the Mount of Beatitudes overlooking the Sea of Galilee, where Jesus preached the “Sermon on the Mount” and it is believed that this is where He picked his 12 apostles. In the early afternoon, we ascend to the Golan Heights for a great panoramic view of the peaks of Mount Hermon and the mountains of the Golan Heights, and beneath it the green landscape of Hula Valley.

At the end of our day, we will drive back to Nazareth for dinner and overnight.

Day 4. Nazareth, Cana of Galilee, Beit She'an

After breakfast we will check-out and travel towards Jerusalem, but before leaving Nazareth we visit the Church of Annunciation, built on the site of te Holy Family House, where archaeologists believe the Archangel Gabriel appeared to the Virgin Mary. We will stop for a short visit to Mary’s Well, where you can drink water from the spring and Saint Joseph’s Church.  Proceed to Cana, the Wedding Church where Jesus performed his First Miracle, turning water into wine. We proceed to Beit She'an, where you find the excavated amphitheater and the beautiful preserved Roman City which was destroyed in an earthquake.

At the end of our day we will drive through the Jordan Valley to Jerusalem, on arrival we will check-in at the hotel dinner and overnight for 4 nights.

Day 5. Masada, Dead Sea, Qumran

Early start for an extraordinary day, we drive through the desert scenery to the Dead Sea, nearly 1,300 feet below sea level, the lowest point on our Planet. The first stop will be to Masada, situated right on an isolated cliff in the Judean Desert. The site has been declared as a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2001. We ascend by cable car to the fortress, which was the last stronghold of the Jewish Zealots in their war against the Romans. Visit the excavations, King Herod’s Palace, the Synagogue, Bathhouse and much more. Enjoy the breathtaking view of the Roman Camps and the Dead Sea. The next stop will be at the Qumran Caves site where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered.

At the end of the day, if weather permits, you will have the opportunity to have the experience to “float” on the salty, mineral rich benefit watter of the Dead Sea.

In the early evening, we return to Jerusalem for dinner and overnight.

Day 6. Jerusalem - Old City

Our Jerusalem journey starts today and we begin at Mount Scopus or "Mount of the Watchmen/ Sentinels" for a spectacular panoramic view of the Old City of Jerusalem is the holy city for each of the world’s three great religions – Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The next stop will be at the Mount of Olives, the site where Jesus first gave the Lord’s Prayer, followed by a visit to the Garden of Gethsemane where Judas betrayed Jesus. Proceed to the Old City of Jerusalem, we will stop at the Western Wall, a holy place for Judaism. We continue to the actual site of the Second Temple, the Temple Mount. Walk the Way of the Cross, the Via Dolorosa to Calvary and the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, housing both the traditional site of Crucifixion and the Tomb of the Resurrection. We proceed just outside the Old City to Mount Zion, we stop at the Tomb of King David and the Room of the Last Supper.

We return to the hotel for dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 7. Jerusalem - New City

After breakfast we will drive to the renewed Yad Vashem, the official memorial to the Jewish victims of the Holocaust, established in 1953, located on the foot of Mount Hertzel. We continue to Ein Karem, a picturesque village on the south western outskirts of Jerusalem, this small village has great significance in Christianity, according to the tradition, here John the Baptist was born. Our next stop will be to the Israel Museum, lately renovated with a detailed Model of Jerusalem from the time of the Second Temple and the Shrine of the Book, which houses the Dead Sea Scrolls. Drive by the Knesset (House of Parliament) and the Campus of Hebrew University. If situation permitting, we might visit Rachel’s Tomb and the Church of the Nativity. Back to your hotel for dinner and overnight in Jerusalem.

Day 8. End of the Tour and Departure

We have reached our final day on this tour. After breakfast and check-out at the hotel, we will take you back to the airport for your International flight back home.

A fantastic tour integrate visits to Holy Christian sites and historical attractions.

Below itinerary can be changed upon the flight details.

Masses can be celebrated daily.

When a priest accompanies the group, private masses can be arranged by request. These should be booked in advance and can be held Monday-Saturday (subject to space) at the following sites:

· Church of Saint Peter's Primacy in the Galilee

· Basilica of the Annunciation in Nazareth

· Church of the Nativity in Bethlehem

· Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem

· Church of the Visitation in Ein Karem

If a group arrives without a priest, they can participate in regular Masses in English on Sundays. Some places also conduct Mass in the afternoons during the week.
