Mount of Beatitudes

The traditional location for the Mount of Beatitudes is on the northwestern shore of the Sea of Galilee, between Capernaum and Gennesaret, on the southern slopes of the Korazim Plateau. It is where Jesus is believed to have delivered the Sermon on the Mount. The Beatitudes are eight blessings recounted by Jesus in the Sermon on the Mount. Is a collection of sayings and teachings of Jesus Christ.

Tabgha

It is an area situated on the north-western shore of the Sea of Galilee in Israel. It is traditionally accepted as the place of the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes (Mark 6:30-46) and the fourth resurrection appearance of Jesus (John 21:1-24) after his  Crucifixion. Between the Late Muslim period and 1948, it was the site of a Palestinian Arab village.

Capernaum

It was a fishing village established during the time of the Hasmoneans, located on the northern shore of

the Sea of Galilee. Archaeological excavations have revealed two

ancient synagogues built one over

the other. A house turned into a

church by the Byzantines is said

to be the home of Saint Peter.

The town is cited in all four gospels. Jesus taught in the synagogue in Capernaum and healed a man who was possessed by an unclean spirit (Luke 4:31–36 and Mark 1:21–28).
